The American Society is a civil, non-profit association with no political or religious affiliations.
Any United States citizen and his or her spouse is eligible to become an active member.
Citizens of other countries may apply to become associate members.
Annual dues are charged and the Society also raises funds through the sale of advertising, corporate donations and other means as necessary.
