Committees
Article 43: The American Society will have a Presidents Council, composed of all ex-Presidents of the Society resident in São Paulo and members of the Society. The Council will meet whenever called by the President and shall be responsible for providing its opinion on such matters of critical interest to the Society as shall be presented to it by the President. Members of the Presidents Council shall be entitled to attend and vote at meetings of the Board of Governors, where their presence shall be counted toward the required quorum.
Article 44: Each established committee shall be presided over by a chairman appointed by the President and shall have one or more members drawn from the Board of Governors and/or from the membership.
